What you'll need:

Ingredients:
  • 2 (14 ounce) cans coconut milk or coconut cream
  • 2 cups packed pitted medjool dates
  • 1 (10 ounces) or 4 cups frozen strawberries
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract 
  • 1 cup vegan butter
  • 1 cup cane sugar, plus more for sprinkling 
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour or gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda 
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt 
  • 6 tablespoons vanilla or plain non-dairy creamer 
  • ¼ cup unsweetened apple sauce 
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
