What you'll do:
Together we will follow a step-by-step process combining ingredients to make brownies. Then, we will cream together elements for the frosting one by one and learn how to achieve a smooth texture easy for spreading or piping.
What you'll need:
Food items for the Brownies:

1/2 stick unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil

8 ounces bitter sweet chocolate baking bar

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup dark brown sugar

1/4 teaspoon salt

3 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2/3 cup all purpose flour*
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet or milk Chocolate Chips (for the frosting, can be any percentage)
- Dash of espresso powder (optional)
- *For gluten-free use Bob's Red Mill Baking flour 1:1
Food items for the Frosting:
- 2 sticks unsalted butter, soften to room temperature
- 3 1/2 cup confectioners sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 tablespoons heavy cream (or milk)
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
