Pad Gra Prow (Thai Basil Stir Fry) - Pantry Kit (serves 2)
A flavorful stir-fry of succulent steak or vegetables like crispy peppers and onions, infused with Thai Basil and a savory sauce.
Many types of stir-fry dishes are popular throughout Thailand, but the technique is particularly popular on the streets of Bangkok because stir-frying is such a fast and easy way to cook meats and vegetables. Pad Gra Prow is one of the most well-known dishes in Bangkok and can be seen being made on well-seasoned woks throughout many of its street markets. The sauce is balanced with sweetness from the sugar, salt from the fish/tamari sauce and heat from the chili. With its slightly anise flavor, Thai basil gives this dish deeply herbaceous notes that you don’t get from your average stir-fry.
Using Global Belly recipes, you can enjoy it with steak, or vegetables. You can create a variety of similar dishes with new ingredients.
