What you'll do:
You'll learn how to bake delicious buttermilk scones and customize the flavor to your heart's desire. Trang will show you her tricks for flaky scones, tips for substitutions, and different flavor pairings you can create.
What you'll need:

- Flour
- Sugar (granulated + turbinado)
- Salt
- Baking soda
- Baking powder
- Unsalted butter (keep refrigerated)
- Egg (keep refrigerated )
- Buttermilk (keep refrigerated )
- Vanilla extract
- Fresh citrus (lemon, orange, etc.)
- Fresh berries
- Dried fruits (raisins, craisins, apricots, etc.)
- Chocolate chips (any kind: milk, dark, white)
- Powdered sugar (if you're bringing citrus)
- Other flavor extracts
- Large baking sheet
- Parchment paper or silicone baking mat
- Large mixing bowl
- Small mixing bowl
- Measuring cups and spoons
- Whisk
- Spatula
- Pastry brush
- Knife
- Cutting board
- Bench scraper or a bread knife
- Zester for citrus (if using)
