What you'll do:

You'll learn how to bake delicious buttermilk scones and customize the flavor to your heart's desire. Trang will show you her tricks for flaky scones, tips for substitutions, and different flavor pairings you can create.

  • Sugar (granulated + turbinado)
  • Salt
  • Baking soda
  • Baking powder
  • Unsalted butter (keep refrigerated)
  • Egg (keep refrigerated )
  • Buttermilk (keep refrigerated )
  • Vanilla extract
Optional food ingredients for customizing your scones:
  • Fresh citrus (lemon, orange, etc.)
  • Fresh berries
  • Dried fruits (raisins, craisins, apricots, etc.)
  • Chocolate chips (any kind: milk, dark, white)
  • Powdered sugar (if you're bringing citrus)
  • Other flavor extracts
