How to Participate:
This class is hosted online.Once you book, you’ll receive an email with a link and details on how to join. Anyone with the ingredients can participate from their own kitchen.
What you'll do:
Learn how to frost a cake and get smooth sides.
Learn the step by step to decorating a cake with stripes. Chahrazad will share all her tips and go to steps to make sure that the stripes are clean and don’t smudge or blend into each other. The things that must be avoided will also be covered.
Choose whether you want to decorate with Chahrazad live during class or watch in detail the entire process from start to end.
Learn how to hide any imperfections with sprinkles, gold leaf and other accents.
Learn how to top the cake with swirls and glitter cherries for the perfect Holiday Cake.
What you'll need:
Food Items Checklist:
Crumb-coated and chilled cake.
1 batch any buttercream of choice (2 colors). We will color the buttercream during class.
Maraschino cherries (optional)
Glitter or edible dust (optional)
Tools and Equipment:
2 16” Piping Bags
Wilton 1M (or any star tip)
Smooth Cake Scraper
Any Striped Cake Comb (Metal or Plastic – Metal Preferred)
