A LIVE Halloween pasta class! This is a 3 hour class. We’ll make 3 vibrant color pasta dough, with a delicious roasted butternut squash filling; and patterns on our pasta sheets and shape our pasta into fun variations of filled pasta that resemble halloween candies.
Freeze the pasta and keep it ready to eat on Halloween!
Food Items Checklist:
Ingredients for pasta:
- 8 cups of 00 pasta flour (if you can't get any just use all-purpose flour)
- 12 eggs
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Garlic cloves
- Activated charcoal (black) you can purchase on Amazon just make sure it’s eatable activated charcoal
- 1 large roasted RED bell pepper OR Harissa OR 1 tbs sweet Paprika ( for orange)
Ingredients for the filling:
- Roasted butternut squash (Roast the butternut squash by simply cutting the squash in half, cover it with a little olive oil, 1 tsp brown sugar and bake in the oven at 400 for 45 min to 1 hr depending on the size of the squash. It should feel soft inside. Peel the skin and let it cool for the class. We need about we need about 1 1/2 - 2 cups
- 1 head of garlic wrap it in foil and roast for 20 min with the butternut squash
- 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- Nutmeg
- Cinnamon
- Salt and pepper
- 1 1/2 cup full fat Ricotta cheese (drain for 15 min to get rid of excess liquid)

- Blender
- Bench scraper
- Pasta cutter wheel or just use your pizza cutter
