What you'll do:
In this masterclass, you will learn how to fill and coat your cake with dark chocolate ganache, how to create smooth edges, and how to cover your cake in fondant. We will also be creating a fun watercolor effect on our fondant cake, and take it to the next level with gold leaf.
What you'll need:
Food Items Checklist:
2x 5 inch cakes
1 batch of Dark Chocolate Ganache (700 grams dark chocolate and 350 grams heavy cream, melted together in the microwave and mixed until smooth. Allow to rest overnight)
White fondant (approximately 350grams)
edible gold leaf
Blue gel food colour
2 tablespoons of Rosewater spirit (or Vodka, or white vinegar if you cannot use alcohol)
