- Prepare Swiss meringue buttercream (the easy way and no myths)
- Create a crumb coat
- Apply buttercream to get a satin finish
- Prepare chocolate ganache
- Apply ganache to create a drip effect

For the cake:
- Butter
- Sugar
- Eggs
- Milks
- Flour
For the buttercream:
- Sugar
- Egg whites
- Butter (or shortening)
- Vanilla extract
For the chocolate ganache:
- Chocolate (can be compound, coverture, candy melts)
- Cream
Equipment:
- Piping bags (any size will do)
- Piping tips (they can be of any shape and size but a 1M would look super nice!)
- Food coloring (optional)
- Sprinkles (optional)
- Wire whisk
- Serrated knife
- Offset spatula (can be a regular one too)
- Rubber spatula (optional)
- Cake scrapper (better if it's a metal one)
- Turntable (optional, but it will make your life easier)
