Join me to whip up this eggless 2 ingredient buttercream in just 10 minutes and learn how to pipe a variety of florals including roses. Learn how to use your basic piping tips to achieve a variety of designs.
Food Items Checklist:
- 6to 9 Mini cupcakes (what I use) or standard size is fine.
- Unsalted butter
- Condensed milk
- Vanilla bean paste or flavoring of your choice
- Salt
- Americolor or Chefmaster food gels in electric blue, turquoise, electric pink, and electric purple. Chefmaster colors are the same but known as the “neon” range. You can find them in my online shop at Global Belly!
- Sprinkles of your choice to match. Non-pareils are great too. I’m using The Sprinkle Lab “electric beats”
- Edible gold dust or edible art paint in pure gold (optional) to paint buttercream.
- Vodka(optional) to add to luster dust.
**Please come to class with your cupcakes baked and make sure you read the buttercream recipe ahead of time. Also, have your piping bags fitted with the piping
tips.
Equipment:
- Wilton piping tips 125 petal tip, 104, 22,1M & 102
- Piping bags x 5 (scissors to cut bags)
- Toothpicks
- Stand or hand mixer
- Silicon Mixing Spatula
- Small bowls to mix colors (3)
- Dinner spoons for mixing buttercream
- Angled spatula (available on my Global Belly online shop)
- Baking/parchment paper (we will cut some in 2 x 2 squares)
- Small tray/plate for piped flowers to place in freezer
- Flower nail (if you don’t have one, I can show you how on baking paper only)
- Fine detail brush size 0 to paint gold (optional) and small fluffy brush for splatter
