Have you ever wondered how to make cream puffs??

They are much easier than you think and require ingredients you likely have at home. You will learn how to make and bake the cream puffs and decorate them.

I encourage all of my students to ask questions and I will give you tips and tricks to make the experience easy, fun and you will have your own signature delicious sweet to enjoy at the end of class.

What we'll do in the class: 

1. You will learn how to prepare pate choux dough
2. You will learn how to properly pipe cream puffs
3. You will learn how to bake the cream puffs and how to know when they are done baking
4. We will make a cream filling to fill our puffs
5. We will learn how to assemble and decorate the puffs
6. We will enjoy the fruits of our labor!

Prep Needed:

Please have all of your ingredients measured before class and have all of your materials and equipment out and ready to go. It will also be helpful to have a copy of the recipe available.

Supplies Kit Includes:

  • Ateco tip 803
  • ATECO Disposable decorating bags 18" (10 count)
  • 10X15 Wilton Parchment Sheets
  • Offset Spatula

Additional ingredients for the cream puff dough:

  • 1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 stick of unsalted butter (equal to 4 oz or 8 tbsp)
  • 1 cup water

Additional ingredients for the cream filling:

  • 16 oz heavy cream
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup powdered sugar to dust on top of the puffs

Tools Needed at home:

  • Whisk
  • 2-3 sheet pans approximately 12x18 inches each
  • Wooden Spoon
  • Rubber spatula
  • Stand mixer with paddle attachment or hand mixer and 5 quart bowl
  • 3 quart saucepan
  • Small sifter or wire basket to dust the puffs with
  • A small paring knife
