She is a former MasterChef contestant and her recipes have been featured in the New York Times, Bon Appetit, Food & Wine Magazine, and The Kitchn. Her cookbook was named one of the best cookbooks of 2019 by the San Francisco Chronicle and The Washington Post. In addition, she owns an online bakery called Milk and Cardamom Sweets.
