How to Participate: 

This class is hosted online. Once you book, you’ll receive an email with a link and details on how to join. I'll be baking from my home in Idaho. Anyone with the ingredients can participate from their own kitchen.

What you'll do:

Get creative and learn how to paing a masterpiece with buttercream! Whether or not you have a background in arts, this class will surely bring your inner Monet!

Sheri will be sharing her favorite techniques and tools to use, but most importantly - demonstrating how to achieve beautiful florals using a simple buttercream.

The class will cover the basics of buttercream painting, color mixing and adding embellishments. Sheri will also open up the class for a Q&A session at the end, so have your questions ready!

What you'll need:

Food Items Checklist:

  • 3-4 layer, 6 inch cake
  • 7 cups American buttercream (enough to frost and paint)
  • Gel colors in desired shades
  • Desired embellishment (gold leaf, sprinkles, luster dust)
  • Optional - fresh fruit and flowers

Equipment:

  • Cake board
  • Palette knives or food safe paintbrushes
  • Small bowls for mixing colors
  • Cake turntable (recommended)
  • Paper towels for cleaning knives
  • Small paintbrush for applying gold leaf (if using)
